＂Big guy＂ debuts at full power, Jiangling Lexing new energy ＂full scene＂ shines at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show

When it comes to new energy transformation, we mostly think of passenger cars. In fact, China’s commercial vehicles have already started "synchronized walking and sprinting" in the field of new energy, and now they have entered the fast lane of new energy.

As a backbone enterprise in our country’s automobile industry and a large-scale enterprise group with commercial vehicles as its core competitiveness, Jiangling Automobile has been deeply researching the field of new energy in recent years. In March this year, the new brand "Jiangling Avenue" of Jiangling pickup truck was officially released in Beijing, and the new "sky survey architecture" technology platform carried by its models is compatible with fuel, range extension, pure electricity, hydrogen energy and other power systems. In October this year, Jiangling Ford’s latest replacement product, T8, was launched, and the Jiangling Ford E Quanshun brand made a heavy appearance. As the first pure electric platform of Jiangling Ford Light Passenger, the launch of Jiangling Ford E Quanshun accelerated the electrification process of Jiangling Light Passenger.

Wu Xiaojun, vice president of Jiangling Automobile joint stock company and CEO of Jiangling Lexing New Energy, said at a forum not long ago that new energy light commercial vehicles based on urban logistics scenes can greatly reduce fuel consumption, green and efficient, which is an inevitable way to reduce the cost of logistics enterprises and improve operational efficiency.

The determination of Jiangling commercial vehicles to practice the green road is clearly visible. At the just-held 2023 Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition, Jiangling New Energy Commercial Vehicles made an unprecedented appearance. On the booth, Jiangling Lexing New Energy led Jiangling Avenue EV, Jiangling Ford E Quanshun, Jiangling Lexing E Luda and other "E series" legions to the stage, fully demonstrating the new achievements of Jiangling Light Commercial Vehicles in the era of digital intelligence.

At the auto show, Jiangling Avenue EV shone brightly. This new masterpiece, which integrates hard-core aesthetics and contemporary model technology, is an important product on the road of Jiangling’s practice of green and intelligent new paradigm of light commercial vehicles. For it, Jiangling has high hopes and will "inject" a number of hard nuclear power into it.

The power domain control battery pack on the EV on Jiangling Avenue was developed by Jiangling in cooperation with Ningde Times and Times Xin’an. This high-density and highly integrated product adopts the latest generation of CTP technology of Ningde Times, and the energy density of a single cell can reach 188Wh/kg. In addition, the "seven-in-one" power domain control integration technology is also applied to deeply integrate the software and hardware of the control module of the vehicle, electric drive and power battery, reducing weight, improving power and ESP response speed. At the same time, the vehicle is equipped with Bosch IPB intelligent integrated braking system, and the energy recovery ratio of CLTC operating conditions is 27%, which greatly improves the cruising range. The system has fast braking response and can implement all braking functions, including ABS anti-lock braking, EBD braking force distribution, TCS traction control, VDC body stability control, EPB electronic parking brake, etc., to enhance driving safety.

In terms of battery quality and quality assurance, Jiangling Avenue selects a new generation of long-term quality assurance lithium iron phosphate batteries in Ningde era, and the battery system quality assurance is 8 years or 400,000 kilometers. With Jiangling TMS 1.5 thermal management system, the batteries are stable and reliable in different temperature environments, and the battery life is extended.

Jiangling Avenue EV has a maximum operating range of over 500km and a maximum speed of over 140km/h. It has a large cargo space and an innovative super front box. Whether it is urban traffic, suburban travel, camping and fishing, or task modification, it can bring users an efficient and easy car experience.

On the booth, the "all-scene smart light passenger" Jiangling Ford E shines brightly. This is a light passenger with an actual battery life of more than 300km. Although it is powered by electricity, Jiangling Ford still continues the power performance elements of American vehicles, and has also achieved advanced intelligence and comfort.

In terms of power, the Jiangling Ford E Quanshun is equipped with an integrated battery pack and adopts an LFP battery system, which can achieve a cycle life of 3,500 times. The BMS hardware functional safety level of the Jiangling Ford E Quanshun is C. The integrated battery pack with a central layout can ensure that the energy absorption area of the battery is longer and safer during the front, back and side collisions. The low-speed collision battery pack has no effect at all. If there is a high-speed collision, it will complete the high-voltage power down within 41ms after the collision. In addition, the car battery is also monitored by the cloud platform 24/7.

Jiangling Ford E Quanshun applies Bosch IPB + RBU + EPB integrated braking system, efficiently integrates brake master cylinder & ESP, braking response is faster and brake response is more sensitive. Enhanced third-generation wheel hub bearings can be maintenance-free for life.

In terms of intelligence, the Jiangling Ford E is equipped with basic voice control, and can be equipped with a variety of intelligent solutions such as reversing image + AVM, Bluetooth key, remote air conditioning & automatic air conditioning, electric side door, etc.

Jiangling Lexing E-Luda was really the "big guy" on the booth, and its large physique made it gather more attention from the scene. It had a cool and technological front face at full speed "changing electricity", canceling the traditional China net and replacing it with a crystal blue label. In the dark, it came domineering like a mighty mecha warrior.

It also uses a mid-mounted integrated battery pack, which is placed in the middle of the frame to leave more space for the car body. Together with Ningde Times, Jiangling Lexing E Luda’s battery pack has a battery cycle life of up to 3,500 times. To make users feel at ease, the quality assurance cycle of the battery pack is 8 years or 400,000 kilometers. It is worth mentioning that the battery pack has achieved a waterproof grade of IP68, and there is no risk of continuous immersion in one meter of water depth.

Jiangling Lexing E Luda uses a flat-wire motor, which has strong heat dissipation, higher output power, and can suppress electric drive noise, and can adapt to temperature conversion in the range of minus 40 ° to plus 55 °.

Although it is a big guy, it can still achieve low wind resistance and self-rolling resistance due to its ingenious design. The car is equipped with an integrated shroud, which can reduce the air impact at the front of the container. The 13 ° gold A-pillar inclination and the integrated front face design take into account the shape and drag reduction. The wind resistance coefficient of the whole vehicle can be as low as 0.38, and the low roll resistance tires further reduce the resistance of the vehicle forward.
